Hello, my name is Ella Ahn. I started playing soccer when I was six years old with big dreams of competing against the best players at the highest level. When I play soccer, my motive is to have fun and enjoy myself on the field. Moreover, as a captain for my team, I strive to demonstrate leadership on and off the field with the intention of making the right decisions. I am an attacking midfielder with the versatile ability to play other positions. With the ability to use both feet, I swiftly dribble through defenders progressing the play forward. In addition, my soccer IQ creates multiple goal-scoring opportunities during the game. I am able to confidently shoot rockets from outside the box with both my left and right foot. I am also swift on defense from my fast recoveries to my relentlessness in transitions from offense to defense, winning the ball as fast as possible to advance forward. I am very observant and I take criticism from coaches and teammates in a positive manner; therefore allowing me to find ways to improve my weaknesses during games and practices. While taking multiple rigorous honors and AP classes, I am still able to maintain a 3.8 GPA.
Off the field, I am a very lively person being able to brighten up the mood around others. I enjoy helping coach younger kids with the intention of demonstrating leadership. I also value taking care of my body from going to the gym to getting my nails done, making sure I am confident in myself since confidence is always key.
