Hi,
My name is Jasmine Carlson and I am a 5’7” winger (7, 11) with previous experience in the midfield (10, 6) and at wingback. I recently joined San Diego Surf 2010 ECNL after beginning my ECNL career with Minnesota Thunder Academy. I am an energetic, attack minded player who looks to make an impact every time I step on the field.
My game is built around my work rate, my pace, and my ability to create scoring opportunities through dangerous runs and quality crosses from both sides. I enjoy taking players on 1v1, using my vision to connect play, and my speed to get in behind the back line. Along with my attacking ability, I take pride in my defensive work rate and willingness to compete for every ball.
One of the qualities that I value most is the positivity I bring to my team. I am highly coachable, I thrive in competitive environments, and I believe that hard work, consistency, and a team-first mentality are essential to my success and my team’s success. I bring the same commitment to the classroom as I do on the field.
Outside of soccer I enjoy: • Reading • Running and working out • Playing futsal, hockey, and golf • Spending time with friends and family • Being involved in my church community
